专业名称:酒店管理

培养目标:本专业培养德、智、体、美全面发展,掌握现代酒店及旅游管理基础理论、专门知识和专业技能、具有国际视野、管理能力、服务意识、创新精神,能够从事酒店及旅游业相关的经营、管理、策划、规划、咨询、培训等工作的高素质应用型酒店管理复合人才。

  

核心课程:旅游学概论、旅游接待业、旅游目的地管理、旅游消费者行为、酒店管理概论、酒店前厅运营管理、酒店客房运营管理、酒店餐饮运营管理、酒店客户管理、饭店业督导、酒店市场营销、酒店人力资源管理、酒店财务会计、酒店品牌建设与管理、酒店设施管理与设计等

  

师资情况:拥有一支以外籍院长为带头人的双师型教学团队。本专业负责人Georges Ubbelohde为全职特聘外籍专家,目前拥有22名专任教师,其中5人具副高以上职称;拥有硕士以上学位18人,其中博士4人,博士在读3人;有11名教师具有海外留学或访学进修背景,有6名教师有8年以上行业经验。

就业方向:可在酒店、旅行社、航空公司、主题公园、邮轮等领域从事管理工作;在行政、市场营销、策划和人力资源等部门从事行业管理工作;同时可在会展酒店和展会策划公司从事会展策划、执行、招商和项目管理等工作。

  

社会影响:酒店管理专业在教育教学改革中,国际化、重实践的专业特色逐渐形成,教学团队实力日渐强盛。本专业连续三年在中国科学评价研究中心(RCCSE)、武汉大学中国教育质量评价中心联合推出的《中国大学及学科专业评价报告》中排名前82017年被评为5星专业。学生在企业实习和社会服务活动中的优异表现获得行业和社会各界的一致好评。

Major: Hospitality Management

Objective: The Program for Bachelor in Hospitality Management is aimed at developing high-qualified, global-minded and application-oriented talent with a good command of the English language, proficient cross-cultural communication skills and high overall quality. Graduates from this program are expected to competently serve the fields of hospitality industry.

Our faculty: We have an international, dual-professional, high-level teaching team. Our academic leader, Prof. Georges Ubbelohde is a full-time professional expertwe have 22 full-time teachers5 teachers are vice professors or above18 with master's degree or above, including 4 doctors and 3 doctoral students. 11 teachers have a background in overseas study, and six teachers have more than eight years industry experience.

Social impact: Hospitality management major gradually formed the international and professional characteristics. This major is rated top 8 for three consecutive years in the Chinese science evaluation research center (RCCSE), Wuhan university, even ranked NO. 5 in 2017.The outstanding performance of students in enterprise internship and social service activities is well received by the industry and the community.
