浙江越秀酒店管理学院与洲际英才班（YIHA IHG Academy) 于2017年12月19日下午在绍兴世茂皇冠假日酒店举行了开班仪式。
出席本次会议的有酒店管理学院院长Mr. George, 党委书记Kevin全继刚，酒店管理学院院办主任杨勤，酒店管理学院教师代表李国英、王兴刚、王敏，越秀实训酒店总经理王益忠，绍兴世茂皇冠假日酒店总经理Jason Guan，绍兴世茂皇冠假日酒店人力资源总监 Stefanie Liu，杭州洲际酒店人力资源总监Maggie Wu，上海滴水湖皇冠假日酒店 Fiona He。
5家洲际集团旗下合作酒店： 上海滴水湖皇冠假日酒店、国家会展中心上海洲际酒店、杭州洲际酒店、绍兴世茂皇冠假日酒店及绍兴世茂假日酒店。
本 开班仪式在洲际集团浙江区人力资源总监许丹飞小姐的致辞下拉开了帷幕。
在开班仪式之前我们先进行了集团视频观看，在学生表演完毕之后主持人介绍现场嘉宾，IHG中区英才学院项目负责人管坤，浙江越秀外国语学院酒店管理学院院长乔治进行开场致辞，发表寄语。

Dear IHG Executives, IHG Academy Team, dea rcolleagues and dear students.
I extend my sincere appreciation for Mr.Jason Guan the GM of this beautiful property and his team as well as Mrs.Maggie Wu the Director of HR of IC Hangzhou for welcoming us here today.
In behalf of our hospitality institute, Iam very proud to stand here in front of you today and marking an important stepforward in our education development, quality and partnership with hospitality industry.
In any business, partnerships are essential for success and our professional success in our institute has really been basedon carefully selected education and hotel partners from the very beginning.
Our vision in YIHA is clear and we strongly commit:
To be the best institute of hospitality management education in China and abroad.
We believe we can achieve our vision with the ongoing support of our professional partners sharing the same view with us.
Our definition of “partnership” is not justabout transactions or only student supply to hotels, but is about mutual support, going the “extra mile”, thinking “out of the box” and integrating reciprocal efforts into our daily lives and practical, realistic cooperation toobtain “win-win” outcomes and focus to reach ultimate success.
IHG Hotel Group and its education arm IHG Academy certainly reflects those principals and also is willing to lead the change and explore new opportunities with reliable education partners, which is the fundamental and mutual reason that we are inaugurating this partnershiptoday.

The first IHG Academy was established inJune 2006 in UK by IHG Europe as the fundamental social responsibility:business contribution to the society.
Later in 2008 IHG has developed its FutureLeaders Program.
This program operates nearly in 100 countries in the world and with over 1000 education partners.
Since2006 more than 10.000 people worldwide have benefited from the IHG Academy.
IHG Academy provides participants with skills and real life experience of working in different branded hotels to improve your chances in finding a job and build careers in the entire hospitality industry.
This is a good model of collaboration between industry and education while the IHG executives will be involved in the teaching, benefiting our students and teachers within a pre-established program.
Also field trips, internships, short-termon the job practice for students and teachers etc. are also included in this collaboration.
The program includes an IHG Branded Class,which will be soon decorated.
Our 5 partner hotels in this program are;CP and HINN Shaoxing, IC Hangzhou and IC Shanghai Expo, CP Shanghai HarbourCity.
This means these hotels and their teams will be involved in the IHG Academy development in our school.
I would like also to introduce our members from the coordination team in YIHA: Sany Li, Yolanda Yang, Vivian Wei and Chaplin Jin.
Together with IHG Academy, we are confident in our continuous partnership. We truston full engagement in developing our young talents by offering professional internship, Future Leaders Program and valuable and competitive job opportunities as well as continuous contribution in our campus activities.
